Therapeutic groups

Connection.
Practice. Progress.

A supportive group can give young people a place to work on communication, confidence, and emotional skills with peers.

Find the right group

The group matters as much as the activity.

A thoughtful fit

We consider the age range, group goals, and participant needs before recommending a group.

Guided experiences

Activities create opportunities to practice, with staff helping participants understand what happened.

Learning that travels

Reflection helps connect moments in the group to relationships and daily life.

What a group can offer

Practice with peers.
Support from professionals.

A group gives children and teens a place to try skills in real interactions, with people who can encourage and challenge one another.

Staff plan activities around the group’s goals, guide conversations when useful, and help participants make sense of what they notice. Clinicians can weave CBT strategies and other therapeutic approaches into the work when appropriate. A group may focus on confidence, communication, managing frustration, relationships, or a shared theme.

We talk with families about age fit, goals, and the current offerings before recommending a next step. Group counseling is a therapeutic service; our summer camps are separate recreational programs.
