  1. Day 1

    Maine, here we come

    Gather in Danville, travel to Franklin Farm, settle into camp, and get acquainted through games and exploring.

  2. Day 2

    A day in Acadia

    Explore coastal trails and climbing or rappelling opportunities around Acadia National Park.

  3. Day 3

    Pond time & a twilight hike

    Canoe, kayak, or swim at George’s Pond, then set out for an overnight experience on Schoodic Mountain.

  4. Day 4

    Sunrise to sailing

    Return from the mountain, enjoy camp time, sail Frenchman Bay, and visit Bar Harbor.

  5. Day 5

    Whitewater day

    Raft the Kennebec with guides, then head toward North Woodstock for a final night of campfire stories.

  6. Day 6

    A final morning together

    Enjoy the group’s last camp activities, pack up, and travel back to Danville.

What is the balance between activity and downtime?

The itinerary mixes active adventures with meals, camp games, travel, and evenings together. Ask us about the current route, overnight arrangements, and how we adapt the pace to the group.

Where does the trip begin and end?

Our published trips begin and end at Adventurelore in Danville, New Hampshire. Confirm check-in and return times, transportation arrangements, and any changes with the office for your session.

Is the itinerary guaranteed?

The itinerary shows the shape of the adventure. Weather, water levels, access, group needs, and logistics may change the order, locations, or activities. We can explain the current plan before registration.

What about homesickness, food, medications, or staying in touch?

These are good questions to discuss before signing up. Ask us about sleeping arrangements, meal planning, allergies and medications, communication with home, and how staff support campers away from home.

Help with camp costs.

Explore hometown assistance, EFA, and a short list of organizations that may help eligible families pay for camp. Parents and guardians contact each funder to confirm their selected camp qualifies.
