  1. Day 1

    Meet, ride, settle in

    Start in Danville, travel north, ride toward the North Woodstock base camp, and finish the day with a swim or campfire.

  2. Day 2

    An overnight on the trail

    Prepare hiking gear and set out on an overnight hike, with routes chosen for different levels of challenge.

  3. Day 3

    Back to base camp

    Descend from the overnight hike, celebrate the experience, and settle back into games and camp life.

  4. Day 4

    Paddle the Pemigewasset

    Trade the trail for a river journey with paddling, beginner whitewater, and time to enjoy the water.

  5. Day 5

    Climb & explore

    Visit Bald Mountain and Artist Bluff for hiking and climbing opportunities, then return to camp.

  6. Day 6

    Choose your mountain challenge

    Explore routes around Lafayette and Greenleaf Hut, with plans matched to weather, conditions, and the group.

  7. Day 7

    Celebrate the week

    Spend time at Whale’s Tale Waterpark, enjoy a town stop, and gather for the last full camp evening.

  8. Day 8

    One more memory

    Make the most of the final morning, pack up, and return to Danville.

How challenging are the hikes?

This trip includes substantial outdoor activity and an overnight hike. The published itinerary offers different route options. Talk with us about fitness, experience, pack carrying, and which level of challenge would be appropriate.

Where does the trip begin and end?

Our published trips begin and end at Adventurelore in Danville, New Hampshire. Confirm check-in and return times, transportation arrangements, and any changes with the office for your session.

Is the itinerary guaranteed?

The itinerary shows the shape of the adventure. Weather, water levels, access, group needs, and logistics may change the order, locations, or activities. We can explain the current plan before registration.

What about homesickness, food, medications, or staying in touch?

These are good questions to discuss before signing up. Ask us about sleeping arrangements, meal planning, allergies and medications, communication with home, and how staff support campers away from home.

Help with camp costs.

Explore hometown assistance, EFA, and a short list of organizations that may help eligible families pay for camp. Parents and guardians contact each funder to confirm their selected camp qualifies.
