  1. Day 1

    Meet the crew

    Gather in Danville, get to know the group, travel to North Woodstock, and settle into camp. Finish with games and a campfire.

  2. Day 2

    Explore Franconia Notch

    Hike around Artist Bluff and Bald Mountain, with opportunities for climbing, swimming, and a relaxed evening at camp.

  3. Day 3

    Paddle the Pemigewasset

    Head out on the river for paddling, beginner whitewater, and time to enjoy the water together.

  4. Day 4

    Waterpark day

    Celebrate at Whale’s Tale Waterpark, then enjoy games, a town stop, and one more campfire evening.

  5. Day 5

    One last adventure

    Make time for camp games or a final outing, pack up together, and return to Danville with stories to share.

Is this suitable for a first overnight camp?

Talk with us about your child’s experience away from home, comfort in a group, and what excites or worries them. We can explain the sleeping arrangements, daily rhythm, and support on the trip before you decide.

Where does the trip begin and end?

Our published trips begin and end at Adventurelore in Danville, New Hampshire. Confirm check-in and return times, transportation arrangements, and any changes with the office for your session.

Is the itinerary guaranteed?

The itinerary shows the shape of the adventure. Weather, water levels, access, group needs, and logistics may change the order, locations, or activities. We can explain the current plan before registration.

What about homesickness, food, medications, or staying in touch?

These are good questions to discuss before signing up. Ask us about sleeping arrangements, meal planning, allergies and medications, communication with home, and how staff support campers away from home.

Help with camp costs.

Explore hometown assistance, EFA, and a short list of organizations that may help eligible families pay for camp. Parents and guardians contact each funder to confirm their selected camp qualifies.
